Food Bank Collection 2021

In 2021 more than 5,100 emergency food parcels were provided on average everyday to people across the UK. With almost 2,000 of these parcels provided for children. During the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, around half of people who used a food bank had never needed one before. The Trussell Trust found that almost 100,000 households received support from a food bank for the very first time between April and June 2020.
