Walker Filtration Group Celebrates 40 Years of Global Operation

Posted on August 9th, 2023

Located in the industrial centre of Washington, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom, Walker Filtration Limited is celebrating 40 years of success in the filtration, vacuum and drying industries.

In 1983, the company started in the family home of founders Brian and Carol Walker. Since then, the company has expanded into its existing 12,000m² premises. Today, the global headquarters supports divisions in seven different countries. 40 years later, Walker Filtration continues to serve the global compressed air and gas industry. While maintaining a global presence, Walker Filtration Limited stays true to its local roots, employing over 300 individuals from North East England.

To highlight the milestone, each division of the company marked hosted a week-long celebration in July. These events served as thank you to employees for their contribution to the success of the business. At our UK Headquarters, events included a presentation by the senior management team and global colleagues, catering from local food trucks, a trivia competition and more. Throughout the remainder of 2023, there will be various themed events for staff to continue celebrating forty years of success.

“Throughout our history, we have always had a clear objective. We support our customers through innovation, collaboration and commitment. As we embark on our fortieth year in business, we look to the future of our organisation. These values remain at the core of everything we do,” says Steve Bittle, General Manager of Walker Filtration Group.
