The main purpose of this role is for you to be responsible for a section of the manufacturing operations, managing all aspects of the production process. The role is required to ensure that all standards and targets are met, all lines are running efficiently with measures in place to effectively implement recovery plans as required to ensure continuous production in line with customer requirements.
The Production Supervisor will manage a large team of employees, sometimes within a shift working pattern. Being able to effectively lead people and manage all aspects of the employment relationship in line with our Company values is imperative.
This is a challenging role that requires ability to work effectively under pressure. You will need a flexible approach with the ability to change plans and direction as determined by business and customer requirements.
The main purpose of this role will be to develop and improve automation. You will need to study current product and manufacturing methods, analyse and research to implement improvements throughout the medical products section. You will be responsible for continuously implementing methods to increase efficiencies whilst sustaining world class production quality.
You must be educated in a relevant field or possess relevant experience with equivalent qualifications (HND / HNC). You will need to have a proven track record in lean manufacturing; delivering continuous improvement; business development tools and techniques and experience using automation to optimise efficiencies.
